Shots for Soldiers

HLSA is helping our friends at the San Antonio chapter of the Free Market Medical Association raise awareness of a new program called Shots for Soldiers. The program will help make available to veterans a patent-pending new therapy, developed by a small, eponymous Kansas-based non-profit. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints and is effective in pain management. The current need is for volunteer physicians to administer the program. Please read the flyer below for complete details and if you an interested physician, or know a physician who might be, please share this post. You can email Shankar Poncelet at [email protected].

Stephan Porter Announces Launch of New Military Chamber of Commerce

Recently our good friend Stephan Porter took time to tell us about his mission to help veterans, active-duty personnel and their families with a new Military Chamber of Commerce scheduled to launch in July of this year. One major focus of the project will be to address the problems of veteran and military suicide, which is tragically on the rise in the United States.

Please take a moment to view this important message from Stephan and share it with others. You can find more information on the web and Linkedin at:
